I adore this dress. I have the very first iteration and the red and blue.
That said, there are two things to know. First, this is an extremely difficult dress to clean. It’s disappointing but one of my dresses bled color at the cleaners because it is not color fast at all. Then it gets on to the cream border and loses the pristine effect. One wear and my dress became unwearable. When I brought my last one in, the cleaner would only clean it on condition that I understood that it would probably bleed and affect the color. So be aware.
Second, the dress is made small. I sized up and it was perfect for me as I am usually between sizes but I could see how someone else might not like it.
On the flip side, this is my favorite dress I have ever owned. I get compliments from everyone. No, for real.

This dress is so elegant I got it in both colors. I find it flattering on my frame, but I would note that it doesn't have much stretch so it's not very forgiving.
It fit true to size for me. I got XXS and I'm 5'2" 32/25/35
