Lorelei Dress

I knew I wanted this dress as soon as I saw it even though I'm not a v-neck girly. For the most part this dress does not disappoint, comfortable elastic sleeves, soft silky fabric, gorgeous color. As others have pointed out though, it has a very deep V neckline and since I don't like wearing undershirts nor do I have the bust to pull of showing some cleavage, I ended up pinning it closed. I think I'll sew it closed. Still, love the dress.

I love this dress. It was perfect for a Christmas party I went to. I paired it with red satin shoes. I love the weight of the dress and how long it is. I do like that it has sleeves. The only thing that I wasn’t vibing with is the little hook and eye closure on the chest area. I loved that it had one otherwise my boobage would have been really exposed. But my 5 year old son kept on pulling at my dress and he wanted to sit on my lap and the hook fell off because the thread was loosening every time my soon pulled at me. Other than that it’s a beautiful dress.

I got this dress as part of a mystery bundle and was disappointed with how ill fitting it was. The tie barely did up and the neckline was far too deep. There was barely enough fabric to make it work as a tie dress and certainly not enough for me to wear it out which is a shame.

Wore my dress today for the first time to a conference and I have to say that it’s super comfortable! The fabric is nice and soft and the twirl factor is nice. It is true to size but I can imagine if you’re on the smaller side of your regular size, you would be able to size down. When I sit, it does gape open but I wore a tank under for modesty. Not a big deal! This is another winner for me and will go into frequent rotation.
