Mary Dress

The Mary dress is without a doubt the perfect holiday dress! It is stunning and comfortable to wear. The material feels wonderful and the details like the bows and the faux pearls make the dress something truly special. The one downside is, as always, the sizing. I ordered the 3X which is stated to fit 50” bust and 48” waist. For reference, I have a 55” bust and a 50” waist. There is so much room in the bust that I double up on bras when wearing this dress; I’ll wear one well fitting one with underwire and top that with a super padded one that has no underwire. Despite this, there is still some extra material that hangs out under my arms. So, for anyone looking to purchase this gorgeous dress in 2025, go ahead and size down. If you are not a proportionally larger chested woman, ignore the chest measurement entirely and go by waist. Find which one is the closest to your waist measurement and then size down one from that. I will say though, the dress is so beautiful and so perfect for the holidays that I really didn’t care about the sizing issues and have been wearing it every chance I get because I love it so much. I highly recommend.

Loved this dress as soon as I saw it! It's a nice thick velvet fabric. Sizing is off from the size chart. I'm a 38" bust (34DD) and 31" waist and I ordered the L, thinking the M would be too small. The L was way too big. Luckily I was able to exchange it for a M and it fits well. Bust fits great and there's some room in the waist. Not a snatched dress. I'm about 5'5" and it is ankle length for me. I love the bow detail and the pearls. The straps are a fixed length and non adjustable. I think it was the right length for me so I didn't mind. Has pockets! This is my new favorite dress from JK.
