I run between a small and medium in most dresses and it’s usually a toss up which size to go with when there isn’t smocking. I originally purchased a S and while it did fit me because of the smocking, I found that the chest made me look very flat. The armpits were also a bit tight (this being a great bonus when sizing up as it ensures that a bra won’t show!) I exchanged for the medium and it fits like a dream, comfortably can wear it with a bra!

I was surprised how this one ran. It technically works at my usual 2X size, but I really wish I had sized up to a 3X. It just didn't have as much of the twirl I expected. I think I thought it'd have a fuller more Daze like skirt and it didn't. The color is beautiful and I like it otherwise.

There’s a lot I like about this dress: the color/pattern of the fabric, the flouncy skirt, and the sweet ties at the shoulder. I really like the comfort of the smocked back too. I do wish (1) that the skirt itself had a fuller cut. It was a lot more fitted than I expected based on the pictures online. And (2), i wish the fabric were lighter and more breathable. The type of polyster used makes this dress hard to wear in hotter temps — but the style of the dress screams “summer sundress.” I wish the fabric was more aligned with that feeling.

Just got this beauty in and as much as I usually do not love yellow I love this one. The only things that make it better would be if it was cotton.
