When should I order my wedding dress?
These five styles ship from stock, not as preorders, but sizes sell through, so order once you know your date. Plan for three steps:
- Delivery and try-on. Try it on the day it arrives, with your wedding shoes and undergarments.
- A possible exchange. US orders have 20 days from the order date to return or exchange, and your first US exchange is free. The dress must be unworn with tags attached. The Victoria and the Coco are final sale and can't be exchanged, so check the size chart before ordering them.
- Alterations. Ask your seamstress how many weeks she needs before you order, then work backward from your wedding date.
Can I get a JessaKae wedding dress altered?
Yes. Any local seamstress can work on these gowns. Common changes are hemming the skirt for your shoe height, taking in the side seams, and adjusting strap length. Bring your shoes to every fitting. Only alter the dress once you are sure about the size, because altered items are not eligible for return.
