I love it! It's just the right length. The skirt isn't too puffy and I love that the "waist" hits you at the high waist/underbust area.
I got XXL. My underbust is 42inch so I worried the 40inch waist that the dress had would be too tight. It's snug. But if you pull up the waist slightly then it's not snug.
The fabric in the front of the bossom is slightly long as some reviews said. But I wouldn't say there's room. I'm pair shaped, bigger in the middle and tiny boobs but why I got this dress was for my wide, muscular shoulders. I like that there is extra room as other people said, otherwise I'd be either spilling out of the dress or i wouldn't have fit into the dress at all because there wouldn't have been able enough room to shimmy my shoulders through.
The extra fabric in the bossom does kind of poof outward at an odd angle so it looks a bit wonky. I recommend wearing a belt so you can tuck the excess fabric into it and get smooth lines. Maybe a black pin would work to clip it down if you don't want a belt.
Sizing down is recommended.

Out of my recent purchase from Jessakae the purple Gretel has got to be my favorite and I hope they make it in other colors! It being a mini is perfect for it's style and it also gives a retro vibe. I will say I purchased a 1x and then exchanged to a 2x but they both felt like they fit the same? It was kind of tight around my waist for both of them and hard to get over the girls but after it was on it was stunning. Overall love the color and little glitz the appliques add to this dress!

I fell in love with Gretel when she was sneaked online and she’s even more beautiful in person! Length is above my knee but not too short and it has the perfect amount of poof for a dress I can wear pretty regularly. I sized down one and it fits perfectly!

I love the Gretel so much but it was too short for my comfort level 😭 But first the material and color is gorgeous! So perfect for spring and summer 💜 The beautiful flowy sleeves were airy and allowed for plenty of movement. This is a XL so I would say it runs large. I am 5"6 and it is 3-4 inches above my knee.
