Pros:
- soft, comfortable fabric
- perfect for pregnancy and nursing
- great for all seasons because it’s long (layers)
- fully lined
- POCKETS!
Con:
- Only one, but major one. The straps are so thin and the dress is so heavy that they can be uncomfortable and even dig into your skin (especially if you carry things in your pocket, like your phone). I tried placing the straps inside the dress and using as strapless, but it’s too heavy for that.
I still love it though! The pockets will just be for my hands, but I would have loved thicker straps.
I’m between sizes and sizing down was prefect.

We both got the Birdie dress in the gorgeous red color for the autumn because it’s still quite hot in California in September! But even for later in the year, this is a very versatile dress and can be easily dressed up with classic jewelry or dressed down by adding a denim jacket. Super fun and an absolutely stunning color! It’s honestly a perfect year-round piece and we’re so happy to have it in our closets!
