Capri Dress

Overview: Would recommend! The dress is comfortable, flowy, easy to wear, fits well with extra room, and has pockets. I bought it for $98.99 from the sale. I also sized down and bought an XXS. The hem reaches a few inches above my ankles without shoes. The care instructions say to hang dry, which I did. The tassels are a nice detail. Sitting down does require gathering the fabric.

Pros:

• The pockets do have enough room to fit a phone.

• The dress is breezy and allows for airflow.

• The straps and waistband are stretchy.

• I was able to wear a normal bra with this.

• The ruffles and other details were non-irritating.

• The design allowed for plenty of movement without restrictions.

Cons:

• This fabric is a bit thicker and more structured than I was expecting. Still lightweight but just something to note.

• I did have to steam the ruffles upwards due to the design choice, but steaming the dress is optional as the design pretty much masks the wrinkles.

• I had to adjust my dress a few times to keep it from lowering and showing the bra.

Conclusion: Size down if you are purchasing. Note that the fabric is thicker. The dress is roomy and a great wardrobe addition.

i love love love this dress! it is the perfect year-round dress! in cooler months i just wear a turtleneck under it and the dress is flowy enough that it doesn’t look bad if i wear a shirt under it. and of course it’s the ultimate summer dress with a very breathable fabric. the bust is very roomy, so if you have a smaller to medium bust, i would size down. i love all smocked dresses, i think they look flattering on every body type ❤️ highly recommend!!!
