The Rue just SCREAMS Christmas! This is a beautiful, vintage-inspired dress that was released as part of JessaKae’s 2025 Holiday collection. While it definitely screams Christmas vibes, I can easily see myself wearing this throughout the year. The cut is very flattering with a wide circle skirt and fun ruffles on the bottom. It has a square neck and back that is such a staple of the JessaKae brand (and one of my favorites!).
The one fashion pause I have over this dress is the way the lines match up (or rather, don’t match up) in the pattern. It would be difficult to have everything line up across the seams, but I find myself slightly disappointed by the bodice especially. When I look in the mirror, the bodice almost seems to be crooked. This may be an optical illusion (I don’t see this problem in the pictures I took!) but it is something that bothers me enough that I find myself attempting to adjust the bodice when I pass a mirror to make it more straight.
One of the things that makes up for this little pet-peeve of mine is the fact that I can match with my girls! I bought the Rue Girls dress for both my 18 month old and my 3 year old, and let me tell you, they look absolutely adorable and charming in their little vintage gowns! (You’ll have to take my word for it for now, since Christmas Sunday was too crazy to get a picture!)

This dress is beautiful and perfect for when you want to dress up for a more casual setting. The colors are perfect for Christmas but it can also be worn year round.

Don't sleep on this dress! It's so pretty and festive! It's perfect for the Holiday season! I went up a size, but I wished I stayed true to size. However, it wasn't a deal breaker and still looked great!

This dress screams Christmas but I also love how it’s a bit more casual for the less fancy holiday occasions. The print is super fun and cute and the twirl factor is 10/10. True to size!
